Okay, so I can't seem to do a posting on a regular basis. I promise I'm going to do better. Although, all my blog readers have probably already decided to stop reading.....

Nonetheless, my new job is still killing me. I've been out of training for three months but I've heard that it takes about 3 years just to learn this job. Didn't believe it at first, but now I do. But who cares, I just graduated from college in May with my Masters in Public Administration (any recruiters out there?). It is my hopes to find a CAREER real soon. Life after homework and many trips to the library has become a bore. I am 32 years old and just realized how boring my life really is and it doesn't help that I'm making pennies, which allows me money just to pay the bills.

What a way to start off a Blog after being absent for months! I'll do better I promise.

I'm back Y'all!

Well blog world, I've been gone for a little over a month, but I'm back now. The last time I posted I had just quit my job. I am still REJOICING over that decision because it is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I still caught a little hell after leaving, but it's cool. They keep forgetting that I don't work their anymore so they can "get slapped" at their own risk for continuing to flap their guns. Anywho, I still work a state job just with another agency. This job is busy work which I absolutely love because my days go by very fast. I have a flexible schedule and their is no dress code. I actually went out and bought me some jeans because I'm use to wearing slacks and skirts. I'll still be dressing casual though because that's the majority of the clothing that I have. See, I knew it would pay off if I bought some jeans and some sweat pants. When I got to work I am over dressed, but it's all good!

Nonetheless, I am thrilled for the New Year, I'm getting ready to have a birthday on Monday and needless to say, I am not defeated. And with that said, I'll be getting on more frequently so keep in touch and keep talking with me.

What's a Girl to do........

Okay, so it's 11:00 pm on a Sunday night. I turned on this computer about 2 hours ago so that I could do homework, and I've done about 20 minutes of homework because I was side-tracked.

Anywho, I wanted to tell those that have heard my numerous complaints that I finally quit my job. I was hoping to get fired, but even I try to be loyal to the end. When I quit on Wednesday I even tried to finish all the work on my desk. But then I remembered why I was quitting in the first place so needless to say, the work is still sitting in my office.

My friends would tell me that I should have it good because I had my own office and I had a flexible schedule. Well, it was flexible when my boss wanted it to be flexible. But now I'll have some time on my hand to blog more often, and I won't be as occupied so maybe I'll actually have some blogs "worth reading".

Why am I sitting here watching Girls Behaving Badly? 1. Because I don't have cable and I guess that's good because it would probably get cut off since I know longer have a job and 2. I guess because I've already watched the news.

Yall holla back cause I'm going to need some folks to talk to.

Taking the Boning Challenge.....

If at first you don't succeed......

Within the past three weeks I've gone on five interviews, that's including the one that I'm leaving for in about 15 minutes. Nonetheless, of the interviews I've had, only one called back to tell me that they went with another candidate. And then of course in the other interviews I have to hear that I might be over qualified for the job. If you want a job, what does it matter if you're "over" qualified. I guess it's a lose/lose situation. Can't get it if you're over/under qualified..... What the heck is in between? Anywho, I would say wish me luck, but I'm never really sure about a potential job until after the interview.

Parking

The parking at my job is horrible. In order to get a decent parking space I'd have to be at work at 6:30 am, and my shift doesn't start until 7:30 am. Nonetheless, I had to park in Jerusalem. But I said I wanted to lose weight so I guess I'll shed a couple of pounds.

It Just DOESN'T Mix

Okay yall, I don't smoke and I don't have anything against smokers. If you get lung cancer that's not my problem. Even my husband smokes, but he has to go outside and do it. Is that wrong???? Nah! When he gets us a house with a couple of corridors or a few wings, then he can have his own little joot joint.....

Anywho, I have a co-worker who smokes all day long. I could've sworn I saw her eat a cigarette which is how much she smokes. Which I guess is okay because I don't have to go to break with her. But I'm most affected when she comes back into the office and sprays this "butt stank" perfume that someone LIED and told her it smells wonderful on her. I already have air freshner in my office that sit on the floor near my door so when people walk by the say "mmm it smells nice in here". Well, I can't smell it because I smell smoke! Smoke so thick like she just came up out the club. How can I tell her that smoking and then spraying perfume "Just Doesn't Mix"? In a nice way, instead of just going to her and saying......YOU STINK!
